Triage looks at photos of the damage, drafts an itemised repair estimate and gives each line a confidence score. Low-value claims where every line has high confidence are approved automatically. Every other claim goes to an adjuster, along with the reasons it was sent there. You can change the thresholds that make this decision in the settings below.
Estimates at or below this amount, with confidence above the bar, are approved without an adjuster.
Below this, even a cheap claim goes to a human first.
Below this the estimate is not used at all, and the claim goes straight to a specialist.
Repair estimate above this share of vehicle value goes to write-off review, never to an automatic repair.
These four numbers are illustrative starting points rather than validated production values. They are exposed here because they are the insurer's risk policy, and that is a decision worth making deliberately before launch. They apply to every claim, so try moving one and then switching claims above. The escalate floor is held at least five points below the auto-approve bar, because if the two cross then auto-approve becomes unreachable with no warning.
